All the ways we keep our community safe During COVID-19

When COVID-19 abruptly changed the daily lives of the entire world, we began to find ways to make our world a little safer and brighter by embracing the distance and coming together to protect our Boca Grove family.

Safety
In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic we began to enhance our protective sanitization measures throughout the Clubhouse.  Upon distancing, we ensured consistent communication to the membership through daily video updates, Facebook, text and even personal phone calls. This connection provides a safe environment to enjoy outdoor activities and highlight the community bond.  To ensure the safety of our members and the entire community, we continue to provide masks, hand sanitizer and clear protocols for all indoor and outdoor activities. We  are also quick to adopt new policies that ensure the safety of our community.  Now that indoor activities have been re-introduced, we are taking standard measures such as designated entry and exit points, temperature checks, health screenings for employees, hand sanitizer stations and touch-free lavatories and washrooms.

Moreover, we have introduced detailed and systematic sanitation procedures for all areas of the club using Enozo disinfectant spray, which uses an electrical charge to create aqueous ozone to sanitize. Lastly, when you arrive at the clubhouse either by golf cart or vehicle a disposable wheel cover is used when parking and retrieving your vehicle.

MERV 13 HVAC Air Filters
Minimum Efficiency Reporting Values, or MERV, reports a filter's ability to capture particles. Filters with MERV-13 or higher ratings can trap smaller particles, including viruses. In 2017, our EPA Certified Director of Maintenance, Roberto Rodriguez, upgraded all filters in the clubhouse, fitness center and tennis center with the MERV 13 air filters, which we continue to use today.

Extended Take Out Dining Service
One of our first priorities was to provide our members with an option to bring the comforts of the Club to the safety of their own homes. We continue to offer an extensive contact-less pick-up and delivery service for lunch and dinner six days a week. The menus offer a variety of items featuring the freshest ingredients and Chef Dominick Laudia’s signature dishes. Dinner specials, offered each night, are meticulously paired with select wines from our expert sommelier. Our service team, equipped with gloves and masks, are welcomed with distant smiles from members receiving food deliveries, providing a friendly familiar connection during the time apart.

Chef’s Pantry
As a way to ensure our members have the basic grocery items needed to prepare a simple meal or just staple items, we opened our Chef’s Pantry. Through the pantry our members order deli meats by the pound, fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, eggs and yes, even toilet paper.

We are continuously learning and implementing new ways to protect our community.
